Click here to read an open letter to Congress from Greg Scandlen, director of the Galen Institute’s Center for Consumer Driven Health Care.
The letter concerns the controversy surrounding whether participants in the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program will be allowed to create Health Savings Accounts.
Opponents have misused and misinterpreted earlier studies to argue that providing HSAs to federal workers would be damaging. The letter provides the facts, disputing opponents’ interpretation of these studies and making a case that including them would benefit not only federal workers but all Americans.
